I ran into Ivy on Friday, when I did my ECG at the PolyClinic. I saw her newborn girl! ECG was done within 2minutes only, and I was charged $8 for that!! The readings for it appalled me! Bcoz I've no medical knowledge on it. It reads "Abnormality sinus in QRST....." haha, who knows what was that?!
After so, I met up with the doctor, to analyse my situation. She then actually said my ECG looks fine. I then asked the silly question, "Do I have sinus?? Why does the readings say Sinus??". She told me that the heart has a sinus, and it doesn't mean the illness, sinus. haha!! I then told her my history of chest pains, how it happened and the frequency and capacity of it. She said it seems more like an anxiety attack.
However, she suggested that I do an echocardiography. To rule out *mitral valve prolaspe. What on earth is that?? I was told that it is a heart problem common for females, though it's rather rare. It's a sickness where the heart can't function properly: Mitral valve prolapse (MVP) is a heart valve condition marked by the displacement of an abnormally thickened mitral valve leaflet into the left atrium during systole. In its nonclassic form, MVP carries a low risk of complications. In severe cases of classic MVP, complications include mitral regurgitation, infective endocarditis, and — in rare circumstances — cardiac arrest usually resulting in sudden death.
Dr Joshua said it'd be good to do an echocardiography to rule that rare sickness out. It's non-invasive, and that's good news. Bad news would be that it costs alot. However, I'm having a subsidy for it as I've got a doctor's referral letter for it. It'd be ultarasound, just to hear my heartbeat. Sounds ridiculous?? And I'm paying $40++ just to let my heartbeat to be heard!! Alright, it's more complicated then just that.
What a hassle isn't it??
What if it was just anxiety disorder? It'd be my greatest joke!! What could have made me so anxious or worried about to cause such a scene on Monday?? hmm...

:: Believing in Him ::
I've not been blogging lately..Why? Let me list out the recent things that have happened in my life the past few weeks:
1. I'm working for MasterCard
2. Some silly guy has been driving down the cold-shiver down my spine at work
3. I've been unwell.
I'm doing temp Receptionist at MasterCard. I get to see all sorts of people at work, in all forms of races. What do you think? MasterCard Asia Pacific man.. Sometimes I don't know who to trust. Well, it's not like I'm gonna be a perm there. haha..
Yes, there's this guy at MasterCard, who's from NUS, doing his internship there. He has never failed to visit me at my recep counter everyday. Not once, but many times. Just to chit-chat? and Hang around?? What's more, he has started giving me----Sweets!!! Oh my...But im not interested how? I've tried to ignore his calls, his silly questions, and tried rejecting his gifts. I guess he's quite thick skin, though my supervisor has tried telling him that I'm not interested. ah..nevermind. Anyway, it feels good having sb to coax you at work. Esp after a heavy day.
YEs, I've been unwell. My traditional chest pain has popped up after Fri's Revival meeting. I decided to pluck up courage to see the docto, no matter what the outcome might be. The doctor then diagnosed Angina. But all is unconfirmed until I do my ECG on Friday. This Monday, I passed out on the train. All went black, and my hands went numbed, I felt nauseus although my menses were on it's 6th day. I was brought to Outram's sick bay, and the ambulance was ranged. The paedatricians toook my blood pressure and blood sugar level. I was fine then. However, Dr. Joshua, said it was my Hyperventilation syndrome. I suddenly breather too fast becoz i suddenly tensed up, hence the brain can't circulate the blood to the rest of the body.
Hmm..what was I thinking before all happened>> I forgot to bring my umbrella, when the rain started to pour.
Sound ridiculous??
Im praying for God's healing and protection. So dangerous for a girl to faint as and when I tensed up.

:: Cool Day with Dad & Sis ::
We were on our way to Pulau Ubin, when I caught sight of this vehicle in front of us!! My name:) But......It's a Construction Products vehicle!!
Can you imagine we took this pic? Anyway, can you even guess where were we? We were just a the ground floor of some bricky building. However, isn't this angle good??
On a bright sunny day, that didn't last long. Guess who took this?
Yes, that's her! My sis!
Who's the driver?? My dad..
Guess who's lazing at the back of the van? ME!!
More pics to admire!! Btw, this is one of the pics at Vivo, due to the wet weather which stop our trip to Pulau Ubin. But that was a blessing in disguise, because the next moment I saw the something on the news, which might be dangerous for us, if we had gone despite of the rain.
Guess which direction were the two monorails moving??
Ans: Blue(LEFT), and Green(RIGHT).
This is what I saw on the news:

:: A Day with Sister at Takashimaya ::
Yes, we look just like tourists to snap pics at such a juncture.
It further amazes me to see this guy, holding up "Free Hugs" shoutout to the public at Orchard. Just when I thought no one would really go and have a hug on the street, a young malay mother pushed her child's pram over to him and gave him a hug!! Actually when he said free hugs, I don't think so it's really free. Becoz, you gotta return him your hug in exchange for his, right??
Another amazing thing at Orchard MRT: this funny looking creature went around shaking hands with the commuters. Whenever he shook hands with sb, a red light will be seen at the top of his "head". It's just an Arts festival move.

:: Everybody went AWW.. ::
Last Sunday, at HweeSan & TJ's wedding ceremony, it was an eye-opening session for me. It presents to me the several issues and commitments of a marriage. When Pastor Peter said "Everything within you (TJ) belongs to HweeSan now, and vice-versa". That sentence struck me big time! Everytime there will be ra-ra at a wedding, but the principles behind it would have a greater impact than any others. It's just like how we give our lives to God. Of course, to distinguish that from marriage; it's quite hard, as both involves relationship and love. To God we give our lives and He rule over our lives; what we speak, what we hear, our decisions, our will, our emotions, our actions. In marriage, you don't have your partner to rule over your lives, but you live for the person and no longer for mere yourself.
It seems so beautiful, a marriage can be. However, all would be empty if there wasn't God's blessings, or if there wasn't any foundations of principles.
Early in the morning, the bride would be beautifully made-up, and dressed up. All relatives of the bride would gather at her house, to help up set the tea, etc. When the groom comes, all his friends and brothers would be stuck outside her house for sabotages, haha. However, the brotherhood would gather and ra-ra before they enter. It means "Yes, I've finally reached here!". After the whole commotion of red packets and sabotage punishments, the groom finally entered the bride's house and he has a long way before he enters the bride's room. In the house, there would be more commotions and stuff. How ridiculous this seems to be right?? Finally, into the bride's room, he kisses the bride and everybody rejoices!! Subsequently, all would gather at the living room for the serving of tea to the bride's parents, followed by the bride's elders and siblings. After all that had happened, they set off to the groom house, and have another round of tea-serving ceremony to the groom's family.
Finally, everybody set off to the wedding ceremony venue, which is usually the church. All guests would arrive and present their red packets or gifts at the reception, and settle down before the ceremony. As soon as the ceremony begins, the bride's mum would first enter glamously into the church. Subsequently, the announcement would be made BIG, and the bride would be brought by her dad and enter into the church with a loud bang, with her flower girls, accompanied with the angelic melody. haha!! She would be received by her husband-to-be, from her dad. Then the ceremony would begin autentically! We as Christians would start of with worship, where the tears would begin. Then a pastor would come and speak to the couple. After preaching, the pastor would lead them into saying their vows!
It goes like this: "I _____, take you ______, to be my wedded wife/husband. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish 'till death do us part. And hereto I pledge you my faithfulness." haha!!
How cool! BUt please take note of every single word in the vow!! Not to be broken!!
Next, they would take communion and pray through before they sign the papers. Subsequently, both the bride's and the groom's dad would sign too. Then we would have the Unity Candles. Both the mother of the bride and the groom would present their candles, which symbolises the life of their son or daughter to the bride and the groom respectively. The bride and the groom would then place both candles together to light up the centre candle, which symbolises "Two lives in One". That's why it's called Unity Candles.
After all was said, the wedded groom would then be allowed to kiss the bride. haha!!
haha..They would then parade down the aisles of the church hall, and back again. All guests would then proceed for the reception, while photo-taking would be done with the couple's immediate family and relatives.

:: Family Day ::
Here I am in school, before tkd resumes, I'm uploading pics for Family Day to appease my sister and also myself. Becoz home's com is super lagged, here's better for picture-uploading.
Let's see what we have here:
This is the first game booth we visited. Mum's playing the catching fish game. seems easy!
But, we're only given 15 seconds!!
Here's the first fish hooked..
My sister also went to try her chances, haha.
There are also other games like this. You've gotta throw the ring onto the dinosaurs' necks.
There are also games like this. You've gotta throw the balls into these boxes and form a line of 3 balls, like the way you play TIC TAC TOE. haha
This game will be for those soccer-players. You gotta kick the balls into the 2 holes you see at the pic.
Face drawing for anyone?? haha.. I'm just amused by her hat can?
Can you read the word?? It says Caricaturist, at her age. She's only in Poly, mind you. She draws your pic into a cartoon-looking one!
popcorn for two!! me and sister=)
Here's my sister, so happy with her candy stick.
Here's the two silly us taking pics of ourselves, looking so solemnly at the scenary of Singapore Discovery Centre. haha
