Have all of you noticed the recent difference in the climate? January and February in Singapore is usually the Spring season, where it will be hot and sunny. However, what are we having here? Heavy rains, floods, cold winds, etc. Have any of you wondered why?

After searching from the different organisations and the CNA news, here's something to conclude: The change in Magnetic forces, the constant increase in Global Warming, the greenhouse gases effects, etc.

It's believed that the magnetic forces changed its direction. The needle on the compass which used to point North, will now be pointing Southwards. In other words, the usual cold regions will experience extreme heat, while the hot regions may even have snow for the first time. According to the IPPC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), they predict Sydney's doomsday to occur by 2070. Rainfall is forecast to fall by 40 percent and the number of heat-related deaths in the city of four million is expected to soar almost 800 percent from the current 176 to 1,312 by 2050. It will be followed by 20 centimetre (7.9 inch) rise in sea levels would result in storm surges of 22 metres on Sydney's beaches, leaving them eroded and inundating sea-side homes. The heat is expected to whip up 24 percent more wind storms and fuel almost double the number of severe bushfires in the state of New South Wales.

All these happened because of global warming and greenhouse gases CO2 emissions. The report from the IPPC’s first Working Group, released in Paris today, shows that the world has already warmed by over 0.7°C and is locked into at least another 0.5°C warming. WWF stresses the need for countries to keep global average temperatures below the dangerous 2°C rise compared to pre-industrial times.

Anyway, we will leave it all to God. We should choose this season for the outreach and to also treasure the present. Emmanuel, our God is with us!
